I would describe my role at Brown Shipley as... I look after wealthy individuals and their families. I am based in the Edinburgh office and my clients are mainly in Scotland and London. I advise the families of some of the most successful business owners in the country and I seek to build long-term relationships based on trust and a high-level of communication and service.
 

A typical day for me looks like…
 
6am-12pm
Training session with my German shepherd Zara (we are working towards her IGP1 qualification)
Getting ready and listening to an FT podcast
Work/emails/meetings and having a bowl of porridge at 10 am
 
12pm-6pm
Lunchtime walk, if I am working from home then I am accompanied by Zara
Work/emails/meetings
Catching up with my team and preparing for the day ahead
 
6pm-10pm
Gym
Catching up with my husband, relaxing, watching Netflix or just scrolling on my phone
Bedtime and meditation. Zara gets her dentastick 10 pm, so she always reminds me it’s time to go to bed!
 
My favourite thing about my job is… CLIENTS! Earning their trust and seeing them thriving is incredibly rewarding.   
 
I am most inspired by… making an impact on equality. I am very passionate about diversity and especially increasing women participation/visibility in the finance sector. I work with various organisations, including the Future Asset, GAIN – Girls are INvestors, LGBT Great to drive the change.
 
My most memorable day at Brown Shipley was... being shortlisted as a wealth manager of the year at the Investment Week Awards dinner with all my colleagues.
 
In 10 years, I would like to be… the most sought after advisor in the country.
 
I am most proud of… multiple national Lithuanian strength records.
 
One thing people don’t know about me is… I am obsessed with RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Outside of work, you would find me... either in the gym lifting heavy weights or training my dog Zara.

Three things I can’t live without are… my mobile phone, my dog Zara and gym membership.
