Brown Shipley appoints Amrendra Sinha to newly created role as Head of Direct Equity

Brown Shipley, experts in wealth planning, investment management and lending, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amrendra Sinha to the newly created role of Head of Direct Equity.


Joining the Investment Office and reporting to the recently appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Toby Vaughan, Amrendra will enhance Brown Shipley’s investment capabilities as the business develops its direct equity proposition for clients.


Amrendra has over 18 years’ experience across institutional asset management, wealth management and the hedge fund industry.

Amrendra’s appointment follows a strong year of growth in 2018 and is the latest in a series of strategic hires including the appointment of CIO Toby Vaughan in October 2018. Earlier this month Richard McGregor was appointed National Head of Court of Protection & Personal Injury in a newly created role, while Lee Ramsden joined the Manchester office as Client Director.
