Brown Shipley expands its offering to Financial Intermediaries with the Hire of Philipp Iarmaltchouk
Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has appointed Philipp Iarmaltchouk as Head of Financial Intermediaries Market (FIM) UK, as it expands its offering to External Asset Managers (EAMs), Family Offices and Asset Managers in the UK.
Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has appointed Philipp Iarmaltchouk as Head of Financial Intermediaries Market (FIM) UK, as it expands its offering to External Asset Managers (EAMs), Family Offices and Asset Managers in the UK.
Philipp will be responsible for establishing a FIM desk in the UK, as part of a wider Quintet offering, led by Stephan Matti, FIM Group Head. In this newly created role, Philipp will build a team to best serve EAMs and other intermediaries in the UK. Based in London, Philipp will report to Stephan Matti, FIM Group Head and Alan Mathewson, Brown Shipley CEO.
Philipp brings 11 years of wealth management experience and joins Brown Shipley from Julius Baer International, where he was a Director. At Julius Baer, Philipp was responsible for Business Development within intermediaries across UK and Europe. He previously led the Financial Intermediaries proposition at Dolfin Financial and spent six years at UBS AG where he was a founding member of UBS’s Global Financial Intermediaries franchise in London.

Philipp’s hire is the latest in a number of senior hires at Brown Shipley including: Matt Hoyne, Head of Edinburgh Office; Elizabeth Weir, Head of London and International; Martin Cuthbert, Head of Manchester Office; and Calum Brewster, Head of Private Banking and Client Solutions.
