Birmingham; 4 November 2025: Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, today announced the appointment of Melissa Buray as Client Advisor in Birmingham. She will report to Katrina Johnson, Head of North Region. 

 

In her new role, Buray will work closely with the Birmingham team and colleagues across Brown Shipley to support private clients and further strengthen relationships with professional intermediaries throughout the Midlands. 

 

Buray joins from HSBC’s private banking division, where she most recently served as a relationship manager for clients in the East Midlands. Previously, she held roles at Crédit Agricole, State Street and Citi. 

 

Johnson said: “Melissa’s appointment underscores our dedication to the region and focus on meeting evolving client needs, while also deepening our relationships with intermediaries."
