Brown Shipley recruits new asset allocation specialist in London

Brown Shipley  is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyrique Bourbon as Asset Allocation Strategist, based in its London office.

Brown Shipley, experts in wealth planning, investment management and lending, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyrique Bourbon as Asset Allocation Strategist, based in its London office.


Cyrique joins as a senior member of Brown Shipley’s Investment Office where he will be responsible for leading the asset allocation process.

Reporting to Chief Investment Officer Toby Vaughan, the appointment is in line with the business’ objective to continue to develop its overall investment proposition.

With 15 years of investment experience, Cyrique joins Brown Shipley from Morningstar Investment Management Europe Ltd where he was lead manager of the firm’s flagship UK discretionary multi-asset portfolios. Prior to this, he spent several years at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.

Commenting on the appointment, Toby Vaughan, Chief Investment Officer at Brown Shipley, said: “I am delighted to welcome Cyrique to our Investment Office. Cyrique’s appointment is the latest in a number of senior hires for the business this year, including Amrendra Sinha as Head of Direct Equity in a newly created role, Richard McGregor as National Head of Court of Protection & Personal Injury and Nick Cringle as Regional Head, North West.
