London; 3 July 2025: Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, today announced the appointment of Katrina Johnson as Head of North Region. Reporting to CEO Robert Kitchen, Johnson will be based in Manchester and oversee Brown Shipley’s Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Birmingham offices – working closely with each office head and Simon Smith, Head of South Region. Johnson will also be part of the Brown Shipley Executive Committee.
Johnson, who joins Brown Shipley today, has extensive experience in wealth management and private banking. She previously served at Barclays Wealth Management, where she spent 17 years in senior private banking and operations roles. Most recently, she was Regional Director, North England, covering Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.
At Brown Shipley, Johnson will focus on further developing the bank’s strategy for the North, continuing to accelerate business development activities. Brown Shipley has been supporting families in the North since it was founded more than 200 years ago. Johnson will build on this strong heritage as she leads the team in the next growth phase.
